Celebrate the autumn equinox with a weekend of yoga, reflection and community.  Fall equinox is a time when day and night are in perfect balance.  Hatha yoga   is the science of bringing Ha (sun) and Tha (moon) energies into harmony within ourselves.  Join us as we tune into this powerful time of year at the beautiful Camp Quinipet, nestled on the secluded shores of Shelter Island.  A world away in our own backyard.


Daily Yoga Classes ~ Guided Meditation ~ Yin Yoga with Essential Oils ~ Fire Ceremony ~ Kirtan with Live Music ~ Hiking at the Mashomack Preserve ~ All Meals ~              Journaling & Creative Self- Inquiry Activities.

All activities are optional and quiet times are always honored.

Adventure begins Friday Afternoon and concludes Sunday midday

Cost for entire weekend is $275 – Early Bird paid by May 15th

$300 – After May 15th if space allows

Prices include dorm-style lodging in the Willard Lodge, all meals, and activities.

Friday:  Check in begins 4 pm – Create name tags

5:00:  Welcome Gathering –  Logistics, Introduction and group activity

6:00:   Pot Luck Dinner

7:15:   Altar decorating, Chakra Asana Class

**Begin Sacred Silent Period**


7:30:   Meditation & Yoga

9:00:   Silent Breakfast in Lodge

10:30:   Break the silence – Group Activity

12:00:  Lunch

1:00:   Yoga Hike Meet up to carpool to Mashomack or choose free time

5:00:  30 Minute Intuitive Stretch

6:00:   Dinner

7:30:   Kirtan in Lodge

8:30:  Fire Ceremony


7:30:    Meditation and Yoga

9:00:    Breakfast

10:30:  Group Activity

12      Noon – Check Out

Any and all activities are optional; so please honor yourself if you need to skip something, prefer to be alone, take a nap or whatever else you would like to do.  We ask you try and limit technology use (cell phones, lap tops, etc.) and only use them in designated areas. .  This is your weekend to unplug, restore and enliven yourself.

Bedding (Twin sheets, blanket, pillow)

** if you did not reserve a camp bedding set you must bring your own

Towels (wash cloth, bath, and beach)

Walking Shoes

Flip Flops

Bug Repellent

Sun screen

Lawn Chair



Jacket (as nights can get cool)

Yoga Mat

Yoga props if you have your own

Something to share for Pot Luck Community Dinner Friday night

An item for our community altar (you will take this back when you leave)

(ie: small statue, stone, picture, etc.)

Drum or percussion instrument

Personal Journal (we are giving each of you a blank journal upon arrival)
