Keeping with my practice, trying to get creative. Cleaning out closets, baking yummy treats. Watching the birds eat their meals from my feeder. They are not disrupted. They do not look concerned. It comforts me so to watch them flying freely, enjoying the rain. Staying in, closing off the world creates a surreal sense of freedom of its own. Try to find things that nurture you. Paint, write, read, walk in the rain, watch the birds. Keep your spirits hopeful.
Come join me as I am going live on Facebook (friend me or join my Yoga with Amy Page) at 1030am for a meditation and will post a Vinyasa Flow Class on my You Tube Channel at 4pm. Click subscribe to get notified.
Our walk yesterday was so rejuvenating and just what I needed. We stayed a comfortable distance away from each other; which felt weird and made me realize how much I LOVE to by in your energy field with a comforting hug, pat on my shoulder or when I assist you in a pose. We crave human touch! Let this distance between us remind us how much we love each other! I am planning another walk next week (with appropriate social distancing, of course). Stay tuned!
If you pop in to the live meditation at 1030am, Say Hi so I know you are with me.
