It’s been quite a year so far and continues to unfold with both challenges and joys. I’m grateful for all of your support and continued dedication to your practice.
Just as a reminder there will be no classes this coming week as i will be on retreat, class will resume with Tuesday morning July 5th at 9:30 AM.
I cannot stress enough the importance of taking time for yourself by stepping out of your ordinary schedule. It doesn’t mean you have to go far, although getting away from your typical environment can be a great way to shift your perspective.
Take some time this week to take a walk alone and just listen to the sounds of nature . Go to the shores and tune in to the crashing rhythmic sound of the waves. Get Into bed extra early even if it’s still light out to give yourself that rejuvenating sleep.
Meditate do some postures and breathe. Give yourself the space to breathe and reset so you can be present to the joys of summer.
I will see you all next week. Peace love and lots of yoga

Be brave enough to see the light whenever you can. On this day that celebrates freedom, consider the freedoms you have in your life. Emboss your life with gratitude and reverence for all that you have. Choose to be brave enough to be that light for others when they are struggling. Give yourself the time and space to explore what freedom means to you!

“A healing day doesn’t have to be extravagant expensive or traditional. Sometimes it just means going to the places that make us feel good” Melodie Beattie
Spent The day in one of my favorite places near my garden.. I was immersed with the sounds of the birds, the music I was playing and the sound of water from my pool. It was calming, tranquil and peaceful. We really don’t have to go looking in far off places. Healing is simply being in a place that makes us feel good.
Taking care of yourself is not selfish, self-absorbed or unimportant. We simply cannot be our best selves when we are scattered, unwell or depleted of energy. Yoga practices teach us to be aware of where we are stuck in body mind and spirit but it shouldn’t stop there. With the awareness comes responsibility to act on what you know. Listen carefully to your inner voice when she whispers “slow down dear one, take some time to fill your well”. In taking action and practicing what I preach, there will only be Friday class this week. Taking a few days off to rejuvenate, recharge and focus on filling my vessel. Next week regular schedule resumes and beach yoga begins for the summer!
Hoping you enjoyed this first fabulous taste of Summer in the midst of Spring. Gardening, I literally find my ground and count my many blessings. Wandering on the beach, I sense the immensity and beauty of the world and revel in the space. Watching the sky turn from blue to yellow to pink to black, I allow myself to rest deeply in gratitude.
