Let us be soft and yielding, moving gracefully in the way our lives are flowing. Resistance only breeds strife. May we flow into our days with gratitude, humility, curiosity, wisdom and love.♥️
Due to a change in my work schedule, our new class times for Tuesday and Friday Mornings will be 10 to 11:15am and 6 to 730pm on Wednesday Evenings. Hopefully this won’t impact anyone too much. All we can do is let things flow in the way they must and make peace with it! 🙏♥️🙏
Hope you are well and enjoying the Autumn breezes. As Samhain or Halloween draws near we head into the darkest time of the year. This is a good time to let go of anything you feel no longer needs to take up space in your life.
It is also said that the veil between the world’s of the living and the dead is at its thinnest; a good time for Remembrances and storytelling of those that are past.
Hope to see you this week. Until then…Happy Halloween 🎃
Yoga this Week
Wednesday Evening 6pm on the labyrinth for our Yang/Yin class.
Altruism is defined as having or showing an unselfish concern for the welfare of others. Maybe we be vigilant in guarding our thoughts as they lean towards selfishness, greed or jealousy. May we have the humility, willingness and courage to catch these thoughts and replace them with compassion, forgiveness and love ❤️
Metta is a very specific form of love — a caring for another independent of all self-interest — and thus is likened to one’s love for one’s child or parent.
Understandably, this energy is often difficult to describe with words. However, in the practice of Metta meditation, one recites phrases that bring about a sense of peace and well-being while sending loving kindness to yourself and all beings with a wish for peace to be found even in the darkest of times.
For each class I will be leading a guided labyrinth walk invoking Metta. (weather permitting). If you would like to walk the labyrinth please arrive 30 minutes prior to class (9am for the morning, 545pm for the evening)
