There will be no beach yoga tonight but Class is on for Friday at 930, gentle/healing yoga. I will be going to the kirtan on Thursday night, there is still time to tag along if you wish.
Namaste Dearest Yoga Students,
You may have heard that my dear father passed yesterday. He was holding my brother Rocky’s hand and was peacefully swept away. My dad led a charmed life, 92.5 years to be exact. He was hardly ever sick and was strong as an ox up until the last breath. My brother put it so eloquently when he said “Dad’s passing was as natural as the setting sun”. We rise, we grow bright, and when our lives come to a close we set, leaving vibrant colors and meaningful memories. My father requested no service, no wake but only a party to honor his life. I appreciate all the messages of condolences and prayers. His life will live on in all of us; his 6 children, 18 Grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren with two on the way…now that is something to celebrate!!
Shanti, shanti, shanti!!!
Love
Amy
Dear Amy, what a lovely image of your dad’s passing as his sun setting. It does sound like he had a deeply loving time here in this realm, and he leaves so many loving souls to shine their light on the world.
My prayers are with you and your family for peace and continued love among you all.
Love, Vivian
