Yoga this Week – Happy Memorial Day!

**Please note there is no Chair Yoga Class this Monday but there is Meditation at 930am**

Gratitude to those that have lost their lives for the sake of our freedom.  May their families be a peace knowing they are remembered and honored.  Hope you enjoy your freedom this weekend, even if its from your own back yard,  filled with thanks for all you have!

Look around you this morning.  Listen to the birds, feel the sun, relish in the colors of spring.  Call to mind all of your blessings.  Even trials and tribulations are gifts in disguise.  The obstacles in our path allow us to move deeper into our human experience.  Challenging times like these give us the opportunity to move us

away from the material and into the spiritual; drawing us nearer to our divine source that is a constant provider of grace.  We were all meant to be here now experiencing this moment in time, so receive it as best you can with an open heart and a calm mind without any resistance.  May you find peace in this day!

Yoga this Week – May 2,2020

Greetings Dearest Yoga Students,

Hoping this email finds you well.  I am experiencing so much gratitude in these days that we are sticking close to home finding simplicity and joy in the little things.  It’s amazing when life is paired down to the fundamental necessities that we can find our greatest gifts.  Without all the rushing around, going here and there, we have time to slow down and appreciate what is right in front of us.  Our homes, nature, food, the sky, sun and all the green growing things around us coming to life.  Hoping you are experiencing the happiness that gratitude brings.  If you are in a very difficult place right now, try and focus on what you can be grateful for or even better, go help someone else out, either by phone, message or 6 foot away visit.  We can always find some form of gratitude if we look!

Keep shining your light where and when you can.   But let yourself feel your feelings. Its important to allow yourself the freedom to be, whatever that happens to he in the moment. Remember that feelings come and go like the wind through the trees. There’s no need to hold on or push away,  just simply be in the flow.  The flow of life unfolding and moving ever forward.

Yoga this Week-April 19, 2020

Faith, Courage and Strength.  What better qualities to embrace right now as we stand at the door of mystery, uncertain of how things will be as days turn into weeks and weeks into months.  Let’s face it,  none of us have ever been here before so we are learning new ways of being.   Teaching virtually has been challenging and one of my greatest joys during this time.  Having some semblance of normalcy by heading down to the yoga room and teaching is basically helping to keep me sane.  I hope to see you this week.  If you have any questions about how to sign in, contact me and I will walk you through it.  Be well.   Embrace the Present and know I am sending love and hugs!

Hope you are able to find a balanced rhythm to your days adapting to this new way of living.  Thank you to all for attending the on-line classes.  It gives me purpose, a reason to get out of my pj’s (sometimes), and fills my heart and mind with happiness.  I’m using some of this time to dive deeper into my meditation practice and spiritual studies.  It’s really helping to support my inner life and keep me grounded.  I sincerely hope you are all doing well.  Before we know it, we will be back to rushing here and there so see if you can allow yourself to do some projects around your home but equally take time to contemplate by slowing down and doing nothing.

Happy Easter and Blessed Passover to you all.  New Growth, Beauty and Freedom abound in all of Nature.  Choose to see what is beautiful in your world.

Yoga this Week – April 5, 2020

Greetings dear yoga students,

Its been an interesting week.  Hoping you all are safe and well today. The above illustration makes a lot of sense to me.  I seem to oscillate and bounce around between all the levels and if that is true for you as well, let’s make a plan to be more gentle and patient with ourselves (and others we are co-hibernating with) as we navigate these unpredictable days.

 Our on-line classes went smoother this week and I am confident we will begin to feel more comfortable with this new way of practicing together.  Thank you so much to all of you who continue to connect.  We need our Sangha more than ever now.  Not sure how the recurring classes will work.  You may be pre-registered already and receive a reminder email to sign in to class, not really sure how it will work but we will figure it out.  I will know if you enter the class, so if you are registered but can’t make it, I will not count you as being there.
