“I understood that the attachment to myself and my image … was actually taking me away from my self, away from this wonderful opportunity to just sit, just breathe….When under the sway of this obsession, my mind’s attention was always in the fantasized future, or the idealized or devalued past – never present to the reality of the moment.” ― Stephen Cope

Good Morning Amy….I love receiving your posts, even though I can’t seem to get to a class. I’m happy to see your wed morning class is still going. It was a wonderful experience for me. I still do yoga in my living room, with my cat. My granddaughter at 16 months does a great down dog! I’m looking forward to retiring from my full time job in about a year, and attending classes and workshops will be a bigger part of my life. And babysitting of course!
Hoping you’re well. namaste, Jane

Hi Amy – I have decided to take a break from classes for a while. Although I am practicing at home, my knees and hips are feeling very stiff, and it is time to seek further medical advice. Wish you all the best and thanks for all your help. Joan
