“Birds are a miracle because they prove to us there is a finer, simpler state of being which we may strive to attain.”
Doug Coupland

Greetings dear yoga students,
I have been so enamored by all the birds visiting my feeder this year. So many varieties, sizes, shapes and colors fill my vision with vibrancy and joy. I often think about the way they live. So simply in tune with each other and nature. They are a constant reminder not to take life so seriously. Much like my time on my yoga mat, observing them reminds me to trust, let go and fly into the moments of my life with purpose, freedom and joy. Birds are truly a miracle to behold. Try taking a couple centering breaths and watch the birds. Acknowledge their beauty and resourcefulness and see if any deeper insights arise.

Looks like the spreading of the stones on our labrynth will be tentatively Saturday May 20th. Any and all volunteers are appreciated. We also need a couple wheelbarrows if you would like to lend. They say the goal is not what’s important but it’s how you grow along the way. Meeting some obstacles and some delays, We are learning how patience allows us to let go, trust and enjoy the process.

The labyrinth literally reintroduces the experience of walking a clearly defined path. This reminds us that there is a path, a process that brings us to unity, to the center of our beings. In the simple act of walking, the soul finds solace and peace.
