Greetings dear yoga students,

Hoping this email finds you enjoying a peaceful Memorial Day Holiday.  One of the best ways to honor those that have lost their precious lives in service,  and paid the ultimate cost, is to  allow service to be at the center of our lives; in our work, families and communities.  In this way, our lives will have true meaning and our dharma (one’s righteous duty or virtuous path) will surely be fulfilled.

Hanuman – The Monkey God

Hanuman is known as a powerful example of true devotion and service.  He is worshiped as a symbol of physical strength, fierce perseverance and devotion.  In the epic tale (found in the Ramayana)  he overcomes ordeals, obstacles and fear enabling him to perform supernatural feats  in order to save his master, Rama’s wife, Sita; all in the honor of service.

Become aware of where or who you are meant to serve in this lifetime, connect to your dharma.  Life is fleeting, our greatest accomplishments are those of the heart , so put your energy into serving your fellow human being and although it may not be dramatic, rest assured it is true heroism in its purist form

Hoping this email finds you resting in the knowing that being still and observing your world is enough.  When we take the time to truly stop and observe we can absorb the energy of the present moment.  It is only from a calm, clear mind that  what is most important and beautiful in that moment can be discerned.  It is through this clarity that the most appropriate and loving response emerges from our higher thinking.  Moving through the world through with a balanced Vijananamaya Kosha, wisdom layer, benefits all beings everywhere.

 There is no Tuesday morning class this week.  Wednesday Evening and Friday Morning classes will be held in the yard!  ONLY register on Zoom if you plan to practice from home.  If I have at lease two registered for Zoom I will stream it from the yard.  Of course weather permitting.  If weather looks iffy, check your email before coming.

It is going to be in the low sixties in the morning tomorrow and Incredibly sunny. Does anyone have the desire to come and practice me in person on the lawn? I need at least a couple people to respond and tell me that they would like to come otherwise I’ll be strictly on Zoom.

If the weather is right, I will begin to hold Tuesday and Friday morning classes in the yard as well as continuing to stream the classes on zoom. I will post the night before if I will be in the yard or not. Please let me know if you plan to come in person.
