Hari Om dear friends,
How do we prevent self inflicted suffering that is to come in the future? For one thing, it is not easy. It takes diligent practice and consistent awareness of observing your thoughts. Chewing on what might happen or having anxious thoughts about that which you can’t control is like over indulging in rich foods and paying the price the day after. It is satisfying in the moment but creates nothing but suffering later on.
Avoiding unnecessary negative thinking and catching the thoughts at the root is at the heart of creating a peaceful, harmonious life and is worth every effort to do so .

Together
We call down grace,
and gaze without wavering into the fires of creation
We find the place where
Love embraces fear and tears taste like faith
We let our radiance be revealed in laughter and in longing
We hold the whole of life, sweet grapes and bitter, healing herbs
We hold until we overflow
and offer back the gifts that we’ve received
The vessel never empties.
The growing love between us keeps it filled
Donna Faulds

Sending blessings and peace to you all! So much gratitude to our beautiful sangha. I feel so blessed to be on this path with you. Through all the changes, twists and turns of life we continue to grow together and individually in community. A deep bow to you all.

Much love from my heart to yours
Amy

Greetings Dear Yoga Students,
–
We all know that change is inevitable, but yet we still long to cling to the known, the familiar, the comfortable. George Harrison once said, “If we aren’t changing, we aren’t growing”. Everything that grows must change. It is just as important to our well being to accept and embrace change as it is to breathe.

Be open to the shifting landscapes, the rise and fall of emotions, the ebb and flow of energy. When the waves of change seem to be harsh and the seas are rough around you, remember that you are part of an amazing, vast ocean of movement through which you are inevitably being molded, changed and led in the direction of your divine destiny
