Summer Yoga Schedule

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there!

Hope you’re all enjoying this absolutely perfect day. Above you will find the schedule for the summer months. Be sure to make note and sign up for the classes you intend to attend. 🙏🙏🙏

Summer is a special time to experience a little more freedom and break from our normal everyday routines. It’s important to continue your practice even when I am not available. I will put up a couple new recorded classes on my YouTube channel which I will link for you next week. 💕

This week Wednesday is a special summer solstice celebration down at Beech Road Beach in Rocky Point at 7:00 p.m where my dear friends Derek and Jim will be serenading us with their musical creativity to kick off this abundant season of joy!!

Namaste dear friends,

“Everyday is a winding road…I get a little bit closer”  Sheryl Crow

As I sit to write my regular weekly email I am thinking about all the adventures abroad this summer holds for me and my family.  When we expand our world, taking risks and walking through fear, we can encourage those around us to do the same. Enlarging our worldly concept and experiences, we bring a fresh perspective to everything we do.  We also recognize the value of where we call our hOMe!

With that in mind watch for the modified summer schedule coming your way in next week’s email.  it’s going to be an amazing season for us all!!  🙏

True heroism is remarkably sober, very undramatic.

It is not the urge to surpass all others at whatever cost,

but the urge to serve others at whatever cost.
Arthur Ashe

In gratitude and sorrow for all the heros who gave their lives in service.

Happy Mother’s Day a day late!

Dearest Yoga Friends,

On Children

Kahlil Gibran

Your children are not your children. They are the sons and daughters of Life’s longing for itself. They come through you but not from you, And though they are with you yet they belong not to you.

You may give them your love but not your thoughts, For they have their own thoughts. You may house their bodies but not their souls, For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow, which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams. You may strive to be like them, but seek not to make them like you. For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday.

You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth. The archer sees the mark upon the path of the infinite, and He bends you with His might that His arrows may go swift and far. Let our bending in the archer’s hand be for gladness; For even as He loves the arrow that flies, so He loves also the bow that is stable.

Magical May Day!

Greetings on the second day of May.

Wonderful uplifting gathering last night. Gratitude for all that attended in person and in spirit!

Here’s the chant Barbara taught us. Sing it every day in May!

“Every day that is May I will celebrate! And that starts with today”

Followed by a link to the James Taylor song we danced around the labrynth to and the lyrics below.

  Enjoy

First of May

James Taylor
And the light between us
Which we couldn’t quite extinguish
Which we see at dawn
Burns on, burns on
First day of May
Things are beginning
Our side is winning
Hip hip hooray
Made in the shade
Deep in the shadow
Down by the meadow
Lie in my arms
And the moon will rise
Before our very eyes
We will rise too
I’ll be with you
It’s a rite of spring
A horizontal thing
The sweetest sort of dance
Hidden in among the plants
People are laughing
Children are singing
Come join the dance
And the walls around us
Which we kept at such a cost
When we turned around
Came tumbling down, tumbling down
She can’t stop laughing
He can’t stop singing
First day of May
Fetch him down
Fetch him down
Fetch him down
Fetch him down
