“Mother Ganges teaches us that if we want to attain the sea of our aspiration, we must persevere in our goal and never be discouraged by the inevitable obstacles that come on our path. All impediments are like rocks in the river of life. We should flow around them and never give up… there is always a way.” Radhanath Swami
Dearest Yoga Students,
Rolf Gates has a saying: “The obstacles in our path, are our path”and I believe this to be true. Yoga is about relationship and connection. Today explore your relationship to the rocks in the river of your life. How you think about your obstacles and the energy you bring to your actions as you relate to them, has everything to do with how you “flow around them”. Obstacles and the detours they can take us on can be some of the most beautiful parts of our journey. When we encounter a block or an unexpected turn in our lives, it is important to let go of the way you thought the future would look like and open up to a new vision. We never know what the divine plan has in store for us. Go with it, persevere and avoid becoming discouraged. With the help of the divine source that is vibrating all around us, there is always a way.
