Yoga this Week – April 25,2021

“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes u come alive and go do it.  Because what the world needs is people who have come alive”
Howard Thurman

The practice of yoga asks us to come alive.  It coaxes us from the unreal to the real, clearing away the clutter from our minds and bodies enveloping us in the present moment.  Feel into what makes you come alive today.  What gives you butterflies in your core, what makes you tickle with delight?  What is the “Spark” that makes you enthusiastic about living?  Allow the feeling of “aliveness” to stay with you so you can share your excitement with others.

A Spark isn’t a Soul’s Purpose… [rather, a Spark is a sign that the soul is ready to live]”  Quote from the movie “Soul”.

Breathe and embrace your aliveness, your spark, your inspiration today and find the things that bring you closer to a state of happiness, grace and joy; you owe it to yourself and the world to be the best you can be.

I hope to begin Tuesday & Friday Morning Yard Yoga classes on May 5th (Cinco De Mayo!) if weather is warm enough.    Yard classes will also be available on Zoom.  Watch for the announcement.  Also Beach Yoga begins on June 3rd, see post below.  Practicing outdoors definitely makes me come alive, hope it sparks you as well!
