“I define connection as the energy that exists between people when they feel seen, heard, and valued; when they can give and receive without judgment; and when they derive sustenance and strength from the relationship.”
Brene Brown
So happybto back in connection with you all!Today, value the energy of connection with those around you. Support them in such a way that empowers them. Bring your full attention when someone is speaking to you and let them be seen and heard. Allow yourself to be sustained by the deep connections you have in your life; your connection with nature, other beings, your higher power and life itself.
Have patience with everything that remains unsolved in your heart. Try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books written in a foreign language. Do not now look for the answers. They cannot now be given to you because you could not live them. It is a question of experiencing everything. At present you need to live the question. Perhaps you will gradually, without even noticing it, find yourself experiencing the answer, some distant day.”

Greetings dear yoga friends,
Regular schedule resumes this week. Twelve days out from testing positive I feel so much better. Still a little low energy but ready to get back to class! Feel free to sign up for in person or live stream via the links below. Only seven in person spots available so please reserve. See you soon
Slowly recovering. Practicing patience and humility. To be safe, I’m not having class this Friday.
Tuesday next week will be a good 12 days after I tested positive so we will be good to go.
As a reminder, in keeping the room spacious, please sign up for your in person spot either by text or by clicking on the zoom link and checking “reserve in person spot” if you would like to come. Seven students is max.
Thank you all for the messages for my recovery. They’ve meant a lot during this weird time warp. Email with links for next week coming over weekend
Hope this message finds you well. I for one am still hung up in bed with the dreaded Rona (as my son calls it). I honestly thought I escaped its wrath but alas here I lie.
Therefore no classes till Friday, as long as I’m completely recovered. I will send another notice by Thursday to confirm.
Resting. Reading. Binge watching. Great documentary about plant based diets called The Game Changer on Netflix that I recommend watching
I apologize but it looks like I will be away this Friday again! There shouldn’t be any interruptions for Friday after this one, I hope.
Aparigraha Greedlessness Non-attachment “The yogi feels that the collection or hoarding of things implies a lack of faith in God and in himself to provide for the future….By the observance of Aparigraha, the yogi makes his life as simple as possible and trains his mind not to feel the loss or the lack of anything. Then everything he really needs will come to him by itself at the proper time.” BKS Iyengar
Hari Om Dear Yoga Enthusiasts,
Hoping this email finds you well and diving into Fall with abandon and hopeful enthusiasm! Aparigraha is one of the yogic ethics that stands for non-greed or non-attachment. Practicing Aparigraha we are encouraged to foster contentment and gratitude with everything you have in your life reminding yourself you have all you need. There is no reason to worry, hoard or be greedy when you truly believe you have enough. Use this season of abundance and going inward to contemplate all you have, all you are and how you can share it with the world.
