It takes a long time…..Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in your joints and very shabby. But these things don’t matter at all, because once you are Real you can’t be ugly, except to people who don’t understand.” (from The Velveteen Rabbit

Becoming “real” and “living in your truth” is not painless or pretty, but a necessary step towards wholeness and healing.  It takes courage, stamina and faith to arise each day, stand in your truth and face your life in all of its reality;  turning away from nothing that you see.   This process of becoming real involves the art of clear seeing, compassion and a willingness to be used for a higher purpose. In becoming real, you can’t become ugly, you ultimately become the beautiful, spiritual, loving being you always were meant to be
