No matter what life puts before you, keep coming back to all the beauty around you, to all the love inside you, to what really matters.  Even if you stray a thousand and one times, keep coming back to the truth of who you really are.  Keep coming back to the eternal, internal essence of you.  Keep coming back to what you know to be true; that the compassion and love you hold in your heart is meant as much for you as for every living being.  Keep Coming Back.

Much gratitude to everyone who checked in on me!  It’s been quite a challenging time around here. My hip is healing nicely and my husband is steadily returning to his sweet self.  It is in the most challenging times that our practice is there for us.  All the tools we have learned come to the surface when we need them if we keep coming back to them.  Tried and true they help us cope, be present and free up our energy for what needs to be done.  Acceptance, awareness and gratitude arise whenever we make the choice to come back.

Beach Yoga Tomorrow night switched to Patio Yoga 630pm

Greetings dearest yoga students.. Due to my healing hip issue it’s not going to be possible for me to walk down the stairs or even across the sand. I hate to miss these last few weeks of beach yoga but it’s out of my control. Let me know if you’d like to come and do a practice aroundo a practice around my pool in the greenery of my yard .

Yoga this week-September 6, 2021/Mornings back to 930am

Greetings dear yoga students.

Class tomorrow will be in the Yard and on zoom. I unfortunately, pulled my hip muscles so I will have one of our lovely students demonstrating for you.

All students even teachers run the risk of injury. As with any physical activity, care should always be taken. However, teachers of yoga tend to focus more on their students when teaching so may be even more susceptible to over stressing or overusing certain muscle groups. In truth (satya) I failed to pay attention to an on going suble hip pain, therefore, it spoke out and clear last week during a deep backbend.

Hoping to recover as soon as possible. There is a chance I may have to parlay Beach Yoga to zoom. Watch for notification on that.

Until then. Have a wonderful holiday. Take care of yourself!

Greetings Dearest Yoga Students,

A full moon is on the rise for tonight and I have so much gratitude that the storm spared us!  Just like a snake, the moon sheds the past month day by day as gracefully as the sky holds it in its embrace.  We to must learn to let go, to shed the past over and over again until it becomes natural to feel its impressions slip through our fingers.  We can carry a lifetime of regrets or passively fear the inevitable changes that are coming we can make the decision to empty and become full again. Take time to meditate on the Full Moon this week.  Allow its fullness to remind you that cycles come around, things pass and things come.  Let its bright light remind you to shed the light of awareness on this moment.  The present moment where past and future stand still and all possibilities await you.

Yoga This Week – August 15, 2021

The important thing is to be awake now, to feel the transparency, to feel the universal shining through the individual, and then to allow life to express itself though us.

Are you awake??  Yoga practice give us the tools to be wholeheartedly awake to all that is happening inside and outside of ourselves. It beckons us to be aware, be diligent, be alive.  Taking the time to quiet our own chattering minds allows us to connect to that universal energy that is in all things.  To be clear and translucent is to allow the divine light to pass through with clarity and enables us to express the love we hold deep within  our hearts to the world. Take a moment or more and go outside.   Sit silently and connect to your breath.  Close your eyes and begin listening to sounds of the natural world.  Breathe it all in and interact with it.  Allow the air of your breath to pass through you with clarity.   Let go of your need to control your outer circumstances, feel the fluidity and transparency of life.  We are not solid; we are light, joy, love and bliss anytime we make the decision to connect to that universal energy and allow “life to express itself through us”. 

I want to truly thank all of you who reached out to me during this difficult time of my Husband’s surgery. It will take a little while but he is on the mend. It was so very comforting to know you were all sending love and light to us both. It certainly woke us all up to gratitude for being alive and all the love that surrounded us. Very grateful to be getting back to our schedule and I hope to see you all soon.
