Greetings dearest Yoga Students,
The Anahata Chakra is the point of transition between the lower grounding, earthly chakras to the higher, more spiritually based chakras in the upper body. The Anahata is the chakra balances perfectly in the center between the lower and upper chakras. It draws up from the lower chakras; the stability of the root, the mobility of the sacrum and the power at the solar plexus to be able to be open and free while simultaneously drawing down from the top three; spirit let guidance, intuitive vision and verbal expression so that the heart can be balanced to both receive and give love.
The heart chakra focuses on being in a state of acceptance of life which radiates peace, kindness and compassion internally and externally to ourselves and those around us. When the heart chakra is balanced, you choose to see the good and beautiful around you and feel a strong connection to the divine presence in yourself as gratitude is a common result of an open heart. After all, this is the week we celebrate St. Patrick’s Day so when you begin seeing the green all around you, silently take a breath into your heart chakra and know you are loved!
“Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.”
