Yoga this Week! Last Beach Yoga Wednesday with Live Music! Don’t Miss it

Greetings dearest Yoga Students,

Much gratitude to all who took part in our first Sunday Morning Yoga Class at Caruso’s Restaurant. The space was beautiful, the music by Joe Spina was inspiring and yoga was peacefully practiced.  We raised a sweet $200 to donate to The Invited Inn Soup Kitchen at Trinity Lutheran Church!  “Alone we can do so little, Together we can do so much!” said Helen Keller, and she was so right!.  Sunday Morning classes will be on-going at Caruso’s with the same pricing structure as our yoga room classes ($12 for one/$55 for five/$100 for ten (no one ever turned away).  Caruso’s will be offering a special lunch/brunch on Sundays after yoga.    We will also have fundraising classes every so often to give to those in need.

If you are attending the Fall into Balance – Equinox Yoga Retreat this coming weekend, please be sure to go over the “List of things to bring” to make sure you have what you need.  Special note to make sure you bring bedding if you did not reserve it in advance and in case it gets chilly at night bring warm clothes, especially for the Saturday night Fire Ceremony.  Any questions, give me a shout.  So excited that this long awaited weekend is upon us!!

Yoga for Kids begins on September 29th at the FJC School  through the Rocky Point Community Education Department.  Follow the link to sign up and please spread the word!  Comm Ed Fall 2015 Flyer

heart chak

A Blessed Mother’s Day to all!  I hope you enjoyed your day as much as I have.  Remember that although cultural holidays are “supposed” to be happy and joyful, they often also come with a fair amount of sadness or grief for what used to be, what we hoped would be or for who we have lost along the way.  Allow yourself to feel your feelings as much as possible.  Happiness and Sorrow are both different ends of the same stick.  Have compassion and gratitude for those around you as we honor the great mothers that surround us as well as inside of us.

May you find peace and serenity in knowing you are loved!!

“When you experience yourself in stillness – that is, when you give your undivided attention to experiencing the truth about you – you will experience the conflict-free, calm, dynamic peace of perfectly centered abundant life energy”

                                               Eric Shiffman

 Greetings dearest yoga students,

Hoping this day finds you basking in the light of gratitude and surrender to what has materialized in your life.  Feel into your life as you feel into a yoga pose.  Align yourself to the spaciousness of all this moment has to offer.  Breathe in acceptance and breathe out love.   Feel into the stillness at the end of your next breathe and connect to your true self as you draw near to the present, the here and now.  Allow the act of being in your truth bring you a sense of calm and a realization, not that things will be okay, but that things are okay and wonderful already, right now as they are
